Effect of end groups on complexation kinetics between cyclodextrins and guest polymers

α‐Cyclodextrin (α‐CD) has been complexed with various poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) derivatives in aqueous solution. It has been found that the end groups of PEG derivatives affect the complexation kinetics greatly, but have only a little influence on the thermodynamic behavior. By increasing the hydrophobicity of end groups, the complexation speeds up rapidly. On the other hand, the bulky end groups slow down the threading of polymeric guests into the cavity of CD. By changing the hydrophobicity and the size of end groups, the complexation rate can be adjusted in the range of several orders of magnitudes, which should be quite useful in the design of new supramolecular systems. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 新型噻吩基取代卟啉的合成及其荧光光谱研究

合成了两种新型噻吩基卟啉－5，15－二（2－噻吩基）－2，8，12，18－四乙基－3，7，13，17－四甲基卟啉7a（45．1％）和5，15－二（2－联噻吩基）－2，8，12，18－四乙基－3，7，13，17－四甲基卟啉7b(61.2%),并研究了它们的光谱性质，其中荧光光谱的最大发射峰蜂都在631nm处，量子产率分别为4．1％（7a)和1．4％（7b)。

1.5μm波段基于级联二阶非线性的铌酸锂光波导全光波长变换的理论分析

研究了基于级联二阶非线性的铌酸锂波导全光波长变换器的特性.首先从耦合模方程出发,比较了数值分析结果与小信号近似分析的结果.其次在数值分析基础上,分析了铌酸锂晶体的温度变化导致相应基频光波波长与极化反转光栅周期的变化关系.最后分析了在不同相互作用长度下,转换的光波功率与有效基频光波波长带宽、温度调谐带宽、极化反转光栅周期带宽等关系,以对全光波长变换器件进行优化设计 关键词： 级联二阶非线性 波长变换 准位相匹配 铌酸锂光波导

用ICP－AES法同时测定饮用水源中的Cu、Mn、Pb、Cd、Zn等重金属元素，具有基体效应小、测量范围宽等优点。检出限为0．2－4．0μg/L，回收率为91．5％－103．9％，相对标准偏差为0．29％－1．5％，测定密码样与实际样品，结果令人满意。

Periodic solutions for a Lotka–Volterra mutualism system with several delays

In the present paper, a Lotka–Volterra type mutualism system with several delays is studied. Some new and interesting sufficient conditions are obtained for the global existence of positive periodic solutions of the mutualism system. Our method is based on Mawhin’s coincidence degree and novel estimation techniques for the a priori bounds of unknown solutions. Our results are different from the existing ones such as those in of Yang et al. [F. Yang, D. Jiang, A. Ying, Existence of positive solution of multidelays facultative mutualism system, J. Eng. Math. 3 (2002) 64–68] and Chen et al. [F. Chen, J. Shi, X. Chen, Periodicity in a Lotka–Volterra facultative mutualism system with several delays, J. Eng. Math. 21 (3) (2004) 403–409].     

Recognition of the Finite Simple Groups F 4(2m) by Spectrum

The spectrum of a finite group is the set of its element orders. A finite group G is said to be recognizable by spectrum, if every finite group with the same spectrum as G is isomorphic to G.
